Just got my 35k mile services done - the dealership here forgot to charge me the labor. I offered to pay it by they wanted to stick by their initial quote, so it was only $750

I also ordered the full AccuAir kit. That will ship towards the end of the month!

Ordered a custom license plate :)

They said labor was around 7hrs. Around here it's about $100/hr so roughly $1500 total.

I have a RS5 so they did the DSG and Diff and all that other shit. I'm on my phone so I can't see what you have but might be less/more if you have another model

Yeah, it's not cheap. But I'd rather pay that then not get the service done and have to start replacing stuff. It was also the first service since I had bought the car and drove it home (WA) from Texas, so it was nice to have a thorough look over by my friend in the service dept.

I honestly don't know what all is involved on the S5 so I'll leave that to someone with more knowledge. But CONGRATS on the new car!

Work in progress... picked up this prestige S5 a few weeks back with only 17k. It's the 4.2.

Already installed an oem rear view camera, RS5 grill, AWE exhaust w/Black Diamond tips, BC Forged wheels (From an AZ member and still deciding on a powered color change)

I ordered a set of KW V2 coilovers but have now decided to go with Bilstein b16's with IRC and searching for a good place to get them as well as some more research on sways and other suspension components.

Also, already ordered a Deval rear Valance and Siebon Carbon fiber hood.

Looking to also get carbon fiber mirror covers but, stalling with a decision to install lane assist lights.

When I bought the S5, I was gonna get a different one with more miles but had the driver assist package. (Rear view camera &a sensors as well as lane change assist). After realizing I can still add these oem items... I went with a lower mile, cleaner S5. Very happy so far...

One day... supercharger and bbk!

Edit- also changed my dog rings to black... and ordered euro style headlights that are shipped and on the way. Looking into oem parking sensors from Kuftac...

Thanks! Most of my Carbon Fiber comes from Carbon-Designz but I also get some pieces from oCarbon as well

Grille Trim and Fog Light Grilles are Carbon-Designz....MMI and Vent Trim are oCarbon and Paddle Shifters are actually TAG Motorsports

chasing the infamous P0299

installed PVC myself today
i do not crawl under cars anymore, so my mechanic will install the DV next week



old PVC





pull stuff off





clean sealing surfaces





remove old seal from breather tube connector- replace with new one that came with the PCV









align new PCVC






use a magnet to place screws- or drop them in the engine if you prefer.....






put stuff back where it was....





an expert mechanic always has hardware left over cuz engineers over-design everything.....






well....OK.....
i will go ahead & use it anyways.....






looks just like when i started.....

A pair of 034 outer tie rods... quick install. Front end done for now.

Also dropped in a set of Hawk 5.0 pads on all four corners. Interesting how I had to use Vag Com to release the parking brake...
