you should fly out to Cali for a vacation and bring your V Box with you. There is a huge S4 following in Los angeles and we can get every setup imaginable to come out and put down some 60-130 times.

DSG should have nothing to do with it. Just use the paddles to get in the right gear and let 'er rip.

Just remember to put it back in "D" before about 5K RPMs to prevent short shifting.

Just for the hell of it, I did this on our RS5 the other day (Still naturally aspirated). It was rather hot/humid if I recall correctly.

    0-60 4.3s
    0-100 9.6s
    60-120 09.2s
    60-130 11.6s

The road I used is pretty straight, but drops in elevation at the beginning of the run and rises at the end of the run. I typically only use it for comparing against my own times in the same spot.

That was the only run I got in. I did do stock testing right after we got the car and got in several passes. Ended up with a 60-120 best of 9.5 and 60-130 best of 12.0. I plan to run the tests back to back, same day.

Also, our 60-130 on the RS4 supercharged was 10.2 iirc.

Arin - anything noteworthy you'd like to comment on between your S4 and the RS5? Ya I know you're already on Stage III, but what about from a Stage II perspective on the S4. I'm highly tempted by the RS5 . . .

Negative. I need a new pbox because every time I check the card, it's always blank. I've just taken screenshots of the screen with my phone.

reflash to new firmware for pbox and reformat your SD card.

So does this mean despite lower Dyno numbers, RS5 is still significantly faster 60-130 than Stage II+ S4?

not really.. can't infer anything.. different tracks and elevations.

But If we are gonna use different tracks and make statements like yours- Primetime's car ran an 11.06 60-130 time for example and apexit ran a 10.87s 60-130 time I believe- both of which are faster.

Like I said...Can't really compare unless they are done on the same track/strip and preferable day/Density Altitude. We use a 0.0% elevation change here. It's as flat as you can get. Trying to get an RS5 to do here. He is avoiding us like the plague after the initial excited/this car is the fastest factor of getting it.

I can guarantee you it won't do an 11.6s

I don't know. I've never lined them up, 2+ DSG vs RS5 DSG, side by side.

    Today's results: 57 degrees and -707DA

    GIAC Stage 1 S4 6MT
Mods: AWE Exhaust and Injen Intake
    60-130 12.01s

    REVO Stage 1 S4 DSG

    60-130 11.61s

Revo car is a beast in the cold, in warmer weather GIAC has the advantage. APR Stage 2 V2 seems to be very similar to these but we will vbox that this week.
