I dont know the owner personally, but I´ve seen it around some times hence I´m originally from the same town as the owner.

Yep, its the same...only that its from the first owner.
The second owner, that has it now, stripped it from the hideous stickers and painted the grill :)

I guess theres allot of opinions regarding this, some differs allot.
If you´d ask me it should be so it could look like it -could- come out of factory like that, but then again... when did a aired out/bottomed out with coilovers come out of factory?
I wouldn´t mind calling a car OEM+ despite it having aftermarked wheels and suspension. Hell, I´d even call mine OEMplus. heh

That red/errrr.....Avant looks awesome. Usually don't care for body kits, very nice.
I understand what yer sayin'. However, I wouldn't call it a 'body kit' since it comes from the factory like this.
I would actually consider the new MY13 Allroad w/ body colour matched Allroad bits if I needed a newer A4.
Dont you guys get anything over there? No rs2, rs4, rs6 (?), no scirocco and no allroad (yet)?

It's not us, it is the U.S. Government certification process/expense for each car that is sold here that makes it so difficult. Don't get me started on the C7 Avant thing.

We got the RS6 last in 03. We got the RS4 last in 07 and 08. correct me if I'm wrong. I wish we would get the avant in either of the two. Scirocco would be b/a to have. There are a lot of cars over there I would like to have. If we got all what you get I would have problems picking my fleet of VW/Audi's. So maybe thats a good thing. The list could go on for all the stuff that we don't get. I try not to think about it because I get all depressed.

I say Americans in the broader sense. Canadians seem to be the same way (more and more). Heck, I can't even convince my own friend who's only got 2 kids to look at an Avant instead of an SUV (and he already has an MDX). Bigger roads and parking spots and cheaper gas just make the SUVs more attractive here than in Europe. Add to that the fact that most North Americans don't really care about actual driving and road handling, the Avant just loses its edge...

Not to mention the whole "Station wagon" stigma. Typically, most folks I speak with usually have to say this: So what car do you have? Ooh sweet an Audi! But, its still a station wagon... We can thank the big 3 for that. In my opinion though, I like the fact that Avants aren't popular in the US. It just makes them that much more special and unique. So when one is seen on the road, your eyes are immediately drawn to it(mine always are). Yes its sad that Audi won't be selling the A4 in Avant form any longer, but the fact that they are giving Avants another chance via Allroad is a ok with me.
