slight loss in performance, X just flows better.

HUGE change in sound. You will get more of a mustang'ish sound instead of a euro sound.

Also I don't think thats an accurate representation of the Corsa system. From my understanding they only made it for B7's and Auditude's was modified to fit his B6.

he fibbed.. it was a deCorsa exhaust, NOT a Corsa. i've seen it in person. not only that, he had Magnaflow mufflers..

H-pipe: American muscle sound

X-pipe: Euro muscle sound and slight performance gains over H

well I am going to order an X pipe for the hell of it, I am curious about the sound.

However, 2.5" x pipes are easy to find..... 2.25 not as much. Can someone confirm I need 2.25 for the Awe catback?

The Xpipe will give you a more "exotic" sound but some of that depends on the mufflers themselves. Your exhaust sounds good now but it has the American muscle car sound....and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm finding that Audi enthusiasts are a little different and we like it that way. We didn't buy a Mustang or Camaro for a reason. That's why I think the sound an Xpipe gives the S4 fits it so well. Its muscle.....but done a little differently ;)

It's definitly fun! I turned about 4-5 heads at the grocery store this weekend, only getting on it until 3,000 RPMS in 1st gear
