So I did a quick run up to the twisties and back to check out the new sway bars.

Kept it in Dynamic the whole way up and was trying to concentrate on evaluating lean and over/understeer tendencies. Definitely noticed a significant improvement in body roll, especially as I pushed it. Just cruising along, the car felt pretty close to as it did before the swap. I was on a fairly smooth road, but I did notice a bit more bumpiness. Was starting to get the feel of the new setup as the traffic lightened on the way up to the top. There are a handful of nice turns near the top on both sides and on the way up I took the last couple at a good speed, not quite double. Was very happy with the feel in those turns. Significant reduction in body roll with throttle. Got to the top and coasted the next few miles, braking a bit since there are some turns you won't walk away from if you F up. No unlimited lives haha. The car also performed better under no accel than before (just a little, enough to keep things planted). Definitely less roll and was starting to feel a bit like the 'Vette. Not as harsh tho, but not as sticky either.

Took a break at the lake and turned around for the return trip. 3 miles or so back up to the top, then downhill the remainder of the way. Was feeling ambitious so I started to push it a bit more. I wanted to get a good feel for over/understeer. Note on my setup I went with the soft front setting for less understeer. Hit my couple favorite turns and was moving fast. Over double suggested at this point (triple? ). No traffic so it was all good. Slowed way down each time I saw another vehicle btw... During those few turns, I could not feel over nor understeer yet. The car just felt right. So my first impression is that the softer is indeed the right setup for me.

Went to hit that last turn before the top where you need to really slow down since folks hang out at the overlook. Zooming at 65, so not too bad, but double, so when the police suv came around that corner I crapped my pants. Radar went off, lights went on in the rear-view, brake lights evil red. Damn. So I hit the brakes and pulled over pretty much right away and waited. And waited. He didn't show and out of respect I cruised the rest of the trip at the SL.

    Thanks,
    Tim

Excellent review. As soon as PureMS gets these back in stock i was going to have a set installed. I'm interested in your continued impressions during daily driving especially regarding ride quality.

I've noticed with the sport diff it's easy to rotate the car when under acceleration but I was hoping that there would be an improvement with no applied power. Seems like you mentioned a slight improvement there but i'm interested in hearing any updates!
