Emilgevor Interior LED Kit Review

Hey guys... I just wanted to share my experience with you. I purchased the B7 Interior LED kit from Emilgevor last week. The shipping was fast and the transaction was smooth... He gave me a tracking number, but the light kit arrived before i even got a chance to track it. Anyway, I got the kit and it was laid out nicely and packaged safely...

Of course, as my luck has it, I get my kit and the girlfriend wants to go the Monterey Bay... we don't get back home till about 12:30am and i instantly go to work.. =) around 1:15 i finished.. it was a simple QUICK plug n play installation... All 20 pieces worked flawlessly.. the white led lighting floods my interior giving it such a classy look, and my license plate enjoys the new found stage lights as well... lol. I'd recommend you don't hesitate to purchase this kit.

I will get pics of the lights tonight... I shoulda had them by now, but i've been lagging...

for those of you who have had them installed for a while, any issues with with the license plates bulbs? I "thought" we needed a resistor etc...

Hey guys... sorry for delays... I can't find my tripod so I had to shoot using a mono-pod, thats difficult when shooting at night.. any movement blurs... as for the LED kit, i dont get any errors (I dont have the colored screen) and the license plate lights look awesome!

I recently found out that COLORED DISPLAYS have issues with only license plate bulbs. Everything else works fine.
on cars with COLORED DIS license plate bulbs flicker and DIS shows "bulb out" message.
On NON COLORED DIS cars kit works flawlessly.

Clint if you are victim of a COLORED DIS let me know haha
I will ship you pair of spare bulbs as a replacement for License Plate bulbs since you ordered it before we knew about this issue

i read ur looking for a solution beyond adding a resistor, you should give phil (fly300kts) a ring or a PM and talk about it, he figured out that the rear lights needed a certain type of resistor and that fixed the problem 100% iirc the original issue behind the error code is becuase the LED's draw too little (or too much) and the computer can pick up on it reading it as an error



beyond that, i would like to say that while my LED's looked completely different then this set, i paid about the same price as he was charging plus shipping so if anyone out there is still not convinced that this is a good deal should know that this is a little bit cheaper then piecing together your own kit and about 4 times cheaper then going through ECS (without the shipping charges)

I put together a set from Super Bright LED's, paid more and they aren't near as bright as the pics above. I'll upgrade and keep the others as backup.

Dude, do you do red interior kits!? I'm about to total up the bulbs from pw221's thread and see if the total still comes out to 37 or whatever was stated.. depending how much more it is will depend if I buy it or not. I think you should make a red kit though :D

When doing a complete LED interior overhaul like this you lose the soft fading on and off that the OEM bulbs provide correct?

Absolutely.
I have to personally test everything and make sure that they are "ERROR FREE" and not just assume that because its got couple of resistors on the bulb.
My next order I will get few CANBUS leds and see how it goes.

All the lights are perfect.
Same intensity or a bit more i find for the dome but very CLEAR.

I love how everything has a LED light of course not the red reflector side of the door ones because its dark red :P

That is correct, but remember we didn't go with the license plate bulbs.. We just did all interior lights and trunk light.. So Yes, no error codes at all with those LED bulbs installed...

No, you still get the cool fade, but it looks even better because of the white LED... its super sexy! haha

I just installed his kit yday. Such a piece of cake. Although it takes quite a bit if time (~2hrs of my time), it's easy. I could pop off some of the lights with my fingers without breaking 'em, though it took some considerable effort. I only got 20 LEDs but I also needed to replace only 20 bulbs. Used just 1 for the trunk, his count says 2. In the end, the white LEDs look really good. Here's a couple of pics that I tookon my iPh4. Keep in mind that it was day time and the SoCal sun was at it's brightest.
