    Here is the site: http://smk-tuning.com/?id=7&prodID=97

I was cruising through online for a bumper and now they sell them to US customers through eBay

I had found this SMK tuning company a while back and had thought about ordering their bumper, considering mine was destroyed when pulling out of a parking stall this might be a good option for me.........The problem is I have a prefacelift 2001 and this bumper is for the facelift C5 A6 but $320 shipped aint bad at all

Will it be a huge issue to fit it?
Im sure a goodshop will work it right on there.....right?

That looks sweet. I also have a 2001 pre face lift car but would love to put one of these on when I repaint the car this spring. Other then the head light washer jet caps, what else is different between the bumpers on 98-01 cars and the 02-04 cars??????

That's what I'm hoping to find out, it may just be the bumper supports, revised headlight and grille design...Now with the grille redesign I believe the hood dimensions changed as the 98-01 and 02-04 hood part numbers change....

    ugh someone out there knows

I would stay away from that bumper. I contacted one of SMK's buyers and he said that there is a lot of work to get that bumper to fit. You can see part where the trim under that headlight goes is missing. If you want something thats more bolt-on, I would go with one from Dietrich.

Does anyone know if either of those jump-offs will work on my C5 S6? I plan to call estrictly tomorrow (hope they are open on Saturdays).

Your S6 has the wider fenders like my A6 4.2. You are able to use the OEM RS6 bumper.

here is the link for the 98-01 RS6 style bumper. Not sure how much I really like it. I'm thinking I may just take some B5 S4 lower grills and mold them into my stock bumper cover. I did this on my old mk4 Jetta GLI and it turned out pretty cool. I mainly just want to get as much air flow to my WE SMIC's as possible
