    Ohms law... V=I/R (voltage is equal to current divided by resistance)
    hence, R= IxV (Resistance is equal to current multiplied by voltage)

    This is basic formula for solving electronic quantities, however bulbs will not show a quantity for current the manufacturers have already converted the equation to show a quantity of POWER (P).
    Basically this means that current (I) ,measured in Amps) must be replaced with power (P), measured in Watts..

    So Resistance is equal to the Wattage multiplied by Voltage. For example , an H11 fog bulb that is 12v 55w should have a filament resistance of 12v X 55w or about 6.60 Ohms..

    CAUTION ... even though I have a degree in Electronic Engineering the statement and math made above was done so with a nasty hangover 10 mins after I got up.. in the event that I have made an error I will repost the correct formulas... LOL...

    Technically yes , a load equalizer is merely a specially matched set of resistors that provide a specific quantity impedance
    to keep power levels constant. So essentially a load equalizer is a series of resistors
