AUX Input, Part Number Request

Hey guys,

I am looking for an option to add an Aux-Input to my Audi A4.

I did some online research and found out that the new Audi A3 comes with an Aux-In, including a nice hidden 3.5mm input molding.

In various forums I also found the part number for the socket, but unfortunately all pictures I saw were for a black socket (see picture below).

What I would love to have is a cream colored socket, matching the interior of my vehicle.

Does this part exist? If so, does anybody have the part number? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Don't know about that but I put one in the dash using a blank button

Yeah, I saw that posting of yours. Certainly a nice solution, and this would be my second choice if the OEM AUX In is no option.

im gonna do the same mod as well, and i have a beige interior too. i went ahead and ordered the black one cause i dont think the black socket in that position will look half bad. plus, i always have my armrest down so you can even see it anyway. i ordered all my parts from ecs tuning

You can ask the dealer, but I've never seen one in an alternate color. Do they have A3's with Tan interior? I ordered all of my my parts from the local dealer, but I'm all black on the inside.

I searched ETKA and found the input port but, it's only available in black.

The part number for the port is 8J0 035 475.

It is used in the following vehicles:
2008-2010 A3
2009-2010 A4
2008-2010 A5
2009-2010 Q5
2007-2010 TT
2008-2010 R8

I checked all of them to make sure that there wasn't an optional color code.

Here's how it's setup in the B8 A4:

Good morning! I appreciate your help. Now I know that there is just one black version. I'll order that part and go with it. Have to see where I put it in to have the black not stand out too much.

Hey dave man can i just order a couple repair wires and add it into the existing harness since the pins are empty?

Sorry to bump this from the dead, guys.. but where can I find the aux socket ? I've done google searches and the only one I found was a random place for $50. Dealer ?
