
Remove the bolt and and connector then pull it out. This is what it looks like

Take anything that you can use to cut through plastic (Dremel, etc) and cut around the "mold" line around the piece

im assuming if youre having to do this, its been out for a while and its probably like mine, very corroded. Battery acid had eaten the hell out of the board

Battery (there are 2 total, here is 1)

I could not re-solder the one battery contact on the board due to the battery acid. The solder would not stick and i just said screw it and abandoned the project and thought to myself that ive lived this long without it and i dont REALLY need it. The battery markings are "n3h 170" on the top side and the bottom is "3.6 170" for 3.6 volts and 170mAh. They are Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. You just need to find these spec batteries which you can google or custom fit another 2, 3.6V batteries in the casing. Goodluck!
