Mods done today:
* APR 91 & 93 programs, dealer lockout, valet mode, etc.
* Bilstein shocks and H&R sport springs
* OE S4 swaybars
* 19" Rial Nogaros, purchased from absolutegtr in the AZ classifieds. Had to use 10mm H&R spacers to clear the front brakes, so we put the same 10mm spacers on the rear, too.
Next week (hopefully):
* Brushed mirror housings
* Hideaway front license plate mount
* Grill filler plate (no indent for the license plate)
* Smoked marker lenses
* OE chin spoiler (not sure if I'll keep this, I have to see what it looks like once installed)
* Might or might not do tint. I'm kind of digging it without tint right now.
I'll update this thread as more parts arrive and get installed.
The rear needs to settle first. That photo was taken just after I brought home the old parts (wheels, tires, shocks, springs swaybars), so it was rubbing almost the whole way home. We'll see how it looks in a couple days.
Took about 20 minutes and three broken tabs to install, but they're awesome. I was looking forward to getting these as much as I was looking forward to the wheels.
Very nice, welcome to the Rial Nogaro wheel club i just made up.lol. Im running the same wheels but mine are staggered but still the spacers on yours just made it perfect. Good choice and i bet Absolutegtr is happy to get rid of them and your happy to have them...

Yours looks great. I searched for Nogaros before I bought the wheels, and I think I looked at your Avant, so in a way, you helped me make my decision. I love how my car looks now. Just a couple more small things planned for right now, and then I'll probably start saving for an intake & exhaust this summer.
Last night I installed my hideaway front plate mount and a new grille filler. It rained last night, so the car is filthy, but you get the idea.
Yes, I know I need clear corners, that's in the plan for future mods. My smoked corner lenses should have arrived by now, so I need to find out where those are.
Where did you purchase your mirror housings? I also have a black avant and planning to order brushed aluminum mirrors. Are you happy with the quality?
I got them from ebay for about $200. Here's another set from the same place I got mine. They arrived in about 4 days. They're plastic, just like the OE mirrors, not actual aluminum. They seem decent, and I'm sure as hell not going to pay $600 for an OE set. They fit just like OEM.
Spacers are great for looks and stance... But man i tell yah, i will never put spacers on my ride again. it just doesnt feel right when you really ask your car to handle...
ET 30 and ET32 rims seem to widen up the stance proper on all models...
Your avant looks great though, nice work.
I say keep the ambers. they're amber for a reason.
It was from Swift Motorsports, here's a link. It's since been thrown in the trash. My car is too low for it and the bracket was mangled. I have a Podi skidplate towhook mount now.
Nice ride! Are you still running the same suspension? I have BLQ's on the way, and i was thinking of going with the H&R/Koni setup also, just wondering how it's fared over time.

I have no complaints, except for a little bit of reverse rake evident in the first pic. I'm contemplating doing coilovers next spring for some adjustability and to go a little bit lower all around.
Looks amazing... awesome pics too! Side note: Where did you find that AVANT sticker for the rear window? Pretty new around here so not sure where to look for something like that. Thanks!
Looks great. Canoe picture is my favorite. I plan to use my B7 the same way I used my B5. Camping, canoeing, backpacking. Where did you get the brushed mirror caps?
I got my brushed mirror caps off ebay. They're plastic, but they look just like the OE ones, and cost about a third the price. Some people have had problem with them cracking in cold weather, but mine have been through 3 Minnesota winters without a problem.
It's been a while since I posted a pic, so here's the car after installing coilovers:
FYI, the OE ones are plastic too. They were only real aluminum for 2004's. Either way, car looks great as always
Yes. I was planning on getting the "chrome" inpro mirror caps. Saw these and just wanted to learn more. Car looks great with the BLQ's. I plan to keep my car mostly stock or I would be looking into some wheels from Rotiform.
