2point5 Spec.docks Now Available!

Enfig now introduces the 2point5 spec.dock to the Audizine community!

If you have an Ipod interface or even aftermarket radio with Ipod connection in your vehicle we have another solution for Ipod mounting......take a look at the spec.dock from 2point5.

You can order the spec.dock for your Audi A3, A4/S4/RS4, C6 A6, or MKI TT with the choice of nearly any Ipod cable and 2point5 will implement the cable into the dock. Inquire to us if you have any questions as to what cables you can use please PM me or email us at [email protected].

You will also need to specify what Ipod you have so we can get the right insert.

Yes it will work and charge it. The spec.dock is also available for the iphone with the proper insert.

Only modding you will have to do to the ashtray is drill a hole when you take the ashtray itself out. We filmed an install video for this interface + dock in my b7 and should be up on youtube soon. The dock doesn't come with instructions and the Dension's leave a lot to be desired.

I just ordered this dock for my B6 A4 and i'm pumped to get it it...but I did a quick look over before installing and am wondering if you need to drill a hole in the Ashtray Assembly in order to fit the White Connector through to connect to my Dension Gateway. I don't see how else you could get the wire through unless you drilled your own hole.

Thoughts?

That's exactly what you need to do - and make it bigger than they suggest in the install guide - about 25% bigger
