Vogtlands have an awesome height adjustment for rear that allows height adjustment without wheel removal. Not that it matters once set up (unless you slam for shows), but boy is nice during that "I can't find the right height" phase.
    Nice work!

The fronts are not, UNLESS you drill holes like I did into the engine bay. The rears most certainly are, you dont have to jack it up, or even remove the wheel. You can reach in and adjust the rear setting sitting in a parking lot!!

You don't need to modify the vehicle for the Motorsports to adjust for compression.

Here is how you can do the install WITHOUT cutting metal (Stasis was just lazy!). Just have to trim a bit off the rubber grommets on each side, a bit of duct tape and get creative!

Well I was originally going to wrap the cans with some foam pipe insulation and just wedge them in place underneath the rain tray.

Only when the driver side one shifted backwards after a track session and made contact with part of the wiper motor assembly did I have some custom brackets made to hold them in place.

Even funnier... Bubble wrap & race tape for me (also had the wiper issue). I really should do something proper with them - you are now my inspiration to fix it right.

Re: Here are most B6 Coilover options w/ Springrates, dampening etc.

My passenger side bracket is perfect, the driver side one is 1/4" too high but I wasn't going to have my guy spend too much time on it. We decided to dremel off a small section of the fins on the bottom of the rain tray to just get enough clearance to put everything back together.

If you want pics of the brackets let me know and I can email them to you. You can get a pretty good idea of the bolts I selected to secure the brackets to from the pics.

Once I tightened the clamp over the cans they don't move at all.

According to two different people @ KW and a local KW dealer they are linear springs. The pic you posted sure looks progressive for the rear and linear for the front w/ a helper to me.

Eibach is less than cooperative when i wanted more details. They claim it is propriatary and i would have to talk to HQ in Germany. After several e-mails to Eibach HQ in Germany and no response i gave up. If you can get the info i will add it to the list. Thanks for your help.

H&R also claims this information is not needed for an educated consumer to make a desicion. We are suppose to 'trust the leading name in suspension technology'. The people i talked to including their 'motorsports person' told me that most consumers don't understand the relationship of spring rates and dampening and by providing this propriatry info it would lead to more confusion for the consumer.

Based on your pics my damper is upside down when compared to yours.

In fact both my front and rear dampers are oriented the same way with the bumpstop on the bottom.

Those are parts for the other cars in the shop.

There is some serious tuning going on at Kinetic.

But that isn't to say I don't have some things planned for the Avant.
