    ABS Codes?

    Been getting the following codes:

U041500 - Invalid Data Received From Anti-Lock Brake System Control Module

    C114201 - Terminal 31 Electrical error (Brakes?)

Both seem to have started after I replaced a wheel bearing, took a look, everything looks correct - abs sensor, wires connected, etc.

    Any ideas guys?

Assuning this is on an Audi...

Do the brakes work normally or is their an issues with the brakes?

Does the anti-lock module work correctly?

Is there a dash warning light on for the brakes?

    Terminal 31 is a ground.

Do these codes reset/clear and come back?

Might be the sensor ring on the bearing...or the sensors dirty..

Check the ground connections inside the engine bay...maybe corroded...need cleaning...

Everything brake wise is working fine - codes come back after clearing them. Think I'm going to replace the abs sensor and clean it out and see if it changes anything.

Going to try to figure out where the ground for the ABS module - it would just be the wire coming from the module that is bolted to the car right?

According to the wiring diagrams the ABS module ground is earth point 685...Earth point 1, on front of right longitudinal member...near the expansion tank.

You can follow the ABS module harness up and find the ground
