a unique spec 2016 C7.5 A6 TDI, the final and only year of the facelifted A6 TDI before Dieselgate kicked into full swing. currently at 118,950 miles, and still has several months and ~1k miles of the TDI Warranty.
it's a bit of a unicorn spec being a C7.5, Prestige (automatic closing trunk lid, heated and ventilated seats, illuminated door sills LED headlights, etc), S-line (aka Sport package - S6 front bumper, lower/stiffer springs than non-S-line), black optics (no chrome anywhere), Drivers Assistance (adaptive cruise, high beam assist, and lane assist), warm weather package (rear windshield automatic and manual door sunshades), and black headliner. the only options not selected as far as I can tell are night vision and B&O audio.
I am the third owner, and bought this out of San Diego in January 2024 at 98k where it spent all its life. The first owner actually got this under the European delivery program, and the second owner was a TDI nut and had multiple C7 and MK6 VW TDIs. At the time when I bought it, it was the only C7.5 A6 TDI Prestige in the country so naturally, I flew out to San Diego and drove it back to New York (some pictures on OEM wheels are from that trip).
During my ownership maintenance has included two oil changes, strut replacements at all 4 corners (as it felt a little floaty), as well as both rear sway bar endlinks, and a subsequent alignment. No other notable issues. My wife and I have put a little over 20k trouble free miles on this car in ~15 months, most of which were on the Mass Turnpike between Boston Logan and the Hudson Valley where we live. Trip computer shows average 28 mpg mixed between local miles and interstate driving. this can see as high as 38mpg if driving long periods at 55mph.
The original wheels had some curb rash, so I switched to a nicer set of 20 inch BBS CH-Rs. I also have a set of gunmetal 19 in wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport Alpin 5s for a winter set up that can go with the car at full asking. I have both keys, and have added WeatherTech floor mats. title is in hand, with no liens.
reason for sale is my wife who is a flight attendant changed her base from Boston to NYC which is closer to our home and negates the need for her to have a car as she can utilize public transportation now.
I think this is pretty exhaustive, but if you have any additional questions, please feel free to DM and I can provide my cell # so we can call/text.
