B9 Allroad w/034 Springs & Collapsed Bump Stops

Have a 17’ B9 w/62k and been troubleshooting some weird squishy rear suspension sounds. Pulled the wheel and looks like both rear bump stops are completely collapsed. The ride appears to be fine otherwise but I would like to switch out the bump stops. Have anyone done this? I wouldn’t just be better to go Blistein B4’s or B6’s all around w/ new bump stops and 034 Shock mounts?

Did you trim them when you lowered the car?

[IMG][/IMG] No I didn't trim them when the springs were installed but not sure if its too late. I tried silicon spray but that didnt help.

I'm pretty sure this is why 034 explicitly states on it's site:
"Please Note: Compatible with Base, Sport Package Equipped, and Audi Adaptive Suspension Equipped Vehicles with Quattro driveline. We recommend trimming the front bump stops by 10mm on Base Suspension A4s and Allroads."

Looks like it might be time for new, trimmed bump stops

😂. I think it's too late. Luckily they are not to expensive or hard to change.

I would consider getting the sport package bump stops. They will be shorter and designed to work with lower suspension. I would even consider trimming those 10mm or so. Take look at your fronts. You may want to trim those if they are not destroyed yet.

They say nothing about the rear though. I have no idea why they would not say to change or trim them. I have comfort suspension on my B9 A4 and am about to install springs and dampers. These springs literally drop the car two inches from comfort level. No way leaving the stock bump stops is going to work.

Ah i totally missed that OP was having an issue with the rears, not the fronts. Def a little bit more odd. Maybe they were already on their way out and the lower ride height just obliterated them. OP is near me in the Philly suburbs and our roads are awful around here, but even with jut 62k miles, id expect the rear bump stops to still have life in them.
