I had a quick search on FB and using the search bar, but couldn't find the info i was looking for.

My engine is nearly complete at the my engine builder, I've got a new OEM crank bolt, is there an uprated ARP bolt? I can find them for the 1.8T 06A and 058 engines, but not the 2.7T? Am i being dumb and one of those is compatible?

Why don’t you want to use an OEM crank bolt?

Coming from the 1.8T world, it was always advised to use an ARP bolt and pin the crank gear.
If thats not the case for a 2.7T, and that's why I can't find any info on it, then im happy to be told as such :)
