Ignition Coils on my 4.2...NGK vs. Originals vs.....

I'm about to be doing a tune up, amongst other things, on my 2001 C5 Audi A6 4.2. And I'm wondering if anyone knows much about the NGK MOD High Performance Ignition Coils, and whether or not they work well in these cars. Or like with most things on these Audi's, is it best to just keep it stock..? I have some Bremi coils on there now, but I think originally they were Hitachi. Tho I've been told that OE was Beru. Anyways, if anyone has any experience, knowledge, or advice to share...I would greatly appreciate it

Hitachi=Beru, same part. For NA engine, any coil is fine, no such thing as "high performance coil". Even if NGK coil able to provide slightly higher voltage, and then you able to transfer that benefit into slightly wider plug gaps, benefit will be negligible, at best 2% better gas mileage.
With this coil design most important, is to keep contact surface free from corrosion, oxidation or electrical erosion, where parasitic spark forms between the contact surfaces. Separate stem of the coil from the upper part, and gently clean to shiny metal, then use very tiny amount of dielectric grease, but not directly on the electrical contact surface.

Thanks man, that makes sense. I appreciate the response, and for your help.
