Question Need Help with SVM Fault After MMI Software Update on 2010 Audi S5

    Hello everyone,

I have a 2010 Audi S5 with the MMI 3G High system. I recently updated the software to version K0133_3_D1, which I believe is the latest available. However, after the update, I encountered an SVM Fault (03276 - Software Version Management).

Using my OBDeleven, I followed the process to remove the fault by accessing the security menu and attempting to make the necessary adaptation changes. Initially, the adaptation test was accepted, but when I tried to write the new value, I received the following error: “(22) Function cancelled, marginal conditions have not been met.”

I’m at a bit of a loss here and unsure what else I can try. Has anyone dealt with this issue before or have any advice on how to resolve it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

DTC 03276 is harmless and can be ignored. But if you really want to remove it, you need to apply the proper adaptation value here, which is calculated as noted in the OBDeleven app. In your case: 63176 XOR 51666 = 16154. I tried that but when I try to write the new data I get the function 22 error and can't write it. Also I 63176 is the data I got from doing 32710 XOR 51666. It shows there but when I exit the screen and come back it shows "0" where 63176 is shown. I'm very confused as to why it won't let me write a new number

So, I'm not too familiar with how OBDeleven does adaptations. I see now that the value for adaptation channel 15 here is "32710", so your new adaptation value should be "46612" for the "Enter new value" field. HTH --g
