wiper malfucntion error 00908, but wipers seem to work

read some stuff in old threads about this happening. Some people thought it could have to do with the rains sensor. Once and awhile when i start the car, the wipers jump a little. Now that broken wiper light comes on every time I start the car. Wipers do work though Code 00908 comes up. If I reset it, comes right back. Anty ideas?

00908 is a DFCC just meaning "the J400, windshield wiper system control module". So that's the who. You left out the information that says what exactly the error is. So we don't know the why. A more complete post of a error would be at least this much, something like:

00908 - Control Module for Wiper Motor
    014 - Defective - Intermittent

The J400 is LIN bus connected to the J519 BCM. If the wipers seem to work in general, it's probably an issue with the LIN bus line state when the J519 is trying to communicate rather than an issue with the J400 itself.
