Just curious how many others have another weekend car, and if so, what do you got to complement the RS?

The RS7 is my daily driver. My weekend toy is a 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S that I have modified - GTS turbos + tune, TracTive DDA suspension with 110/160 springs + DSC controller with custom map, TPC Racing wide front kit, lower front control arms, Porsche motorsport upper front control arms, Tarett rear camber arms, elephant racing spherical bearings all around, custom front and rear wheels with 265/35-20 and 325/30-20 Nankang CR-S tires.

The RS7 is a phenomenal street car, but it's not a track car at all. The 911 is a phenomenal track car at this point with the little tweaks I've done to it, but it's less practical as a daily driver, especially in a Northeast winter.

    It’s my daily/family car.

Have other things but I barely drive them as the RS6 is “fun” enough for my daily use, scratches the itch. Plus, ppl in my area are such poor drivers as I’m nervous to just drive around and put junk miles on my 911s.

I have an LS Swapped Porsche 968 that I widebodied in steel. That's the car to scare myself with. Then a Datsun Z that's RB Swapped. The RS6 is my daily or an F150.

RS6 daily and Lotus Emira for weekend and track days. But I might need a bigger family car as new family member comes.

That's kind of where I'm at. Love the RS6 as a fantastic daily. Itching for something sporty for the weekends, specifically something for the top down. Currently debating between a 991.2 Cab, 718 Spyder, or 4.0 GTS.

Sold my A6 and 992 C2S for this to be my allrounder daily and weekend car.
This was a mistake, will be back in a 911 as a second car ASAP.

So I have an RS7 and a 991.2 Carrera S. The handling is very, very different. The RS7 is a great highway car, great for 7/10ths driving, fantastic acceleration, etc. It's not light, and it certainly is not nimble like the 911. The 911 is much more connected to the road and much more visceral an experience. They're both fantastic cars, but built for different purposes.

I mostly use the RS7 as my weekend car. On weekdays, I drive a Tiguan, and if I want to have some fun, I drive my MK7 GTI (IS38 FBO on E30). That said, I truly love my RS7 because it allows me to comfortably drive my wife and baby safely while still being a very capable performance car.

[QUOTE=Very curious to hear your feedback as to why![/QUOTE]

The RS7 very much lacks the rawness and excitement of a 911. The shifting, especially downshifting, is just so much better in a 911 and the engine loves to rev and be ridden hard. RS7, even tuned, is a lazy sailboat in comparison. It’s a great daily but once you’ve had a proper sports car like a 911 it’s not even close.

In addition to the RS6 we have a 2018 911 GTS in Voodoo Blue and a 2013 BMW LRP M3 with manual. Also have a 2024 GMC Sierra AT4 for truck duties and rainy days.

All four are very different and enjoyable. I waited years for Audi to bring the RS6 to the U.S. So glad they did.

I'd love to daily the RS6, maybe I will eventually. But for now it's' my garage car. Parking for work at an airport makes me nervous sometimes with it. Maybe one day I'll upgrade like some of you to a nicer garage queen!

E46 M3 is my weekend car and gets even more positive attention than the RS6. The RS6 was meant to be my wife's daily, but I keep stealing it and leaving her with the 200-Series or Super Duty as she can't drive stick! Not many modern cars appeal sadly, I'd love to order a 992.2 GT3 but they have become exceedingly expensive, and with the markups adding to that it's not going to happen plus the current one does <100 miles a month which is a bit of a waste.

I daily 60 miles an old but in excellent condition Trailblazer. The RS6 is a whenever car, but I won't take it to a place where I can get door dings. Sometimes on weekends I may drive my CTS-V wagon. The Vagon is my real garage queen.

I daily my RS7. Weekend car is 992 Targa 4S. Although, driving the RS7 kind of makes me question the 911 since they're both faster than I need and super fun to drive. I guess I just love the look of the Porsche and putting the top down.

While I wish I was also lucky enough to have a 911 as a second ride, we still have a lot of fun in our '59 Beetle on the weekends.
