    Fuel injector install issues?

This post is gonna be a long one, as I’m really struggling with injectors on my 2.0T. I have a 2012 a4 avant and I’m struggling to install my new injectors. They don’t want to fit into the cylinder head and they look quite different. View the photos attached. I was almost wondering if my head was replaced or something? Because the injectors that were in there, correspond to seemingly a different car, and the number on the head seems to be a VW number too, but I could just be overthinking this.

To clarify, the new injector is the one with the green seal. It seems to have a kind of ridged shaft that makes putting it in difficult

We can see the Audi and Bosch p/ns on the old one. But you give us nothing to work with on the new one.

Do you have the tabs lined up with the notch on the head? We can't see the part number to verify if it's the correct part number but the size at least looks to be the same. Make sure there's no debris on the injector hole and they should be able to be pushed in place with some firm pressure.

And that teflon seal on the new one looks too large; you're going to have to use the injector kit to shrink it down like you had installed a replacement seal. Never had to do so with legit new Bosch OEM injectors, myself.

that just the wrong injector. Search the part number on the old one. Or any parts website like FCP euro will get in the right direction.

    Fuel injector install issues?

Sorry guys- posted in sort of a panic, turns out I just had to push a little harder lol

Edit: the injectors are correct, Bosch from FCO euro but they seem to just be a newer revision.
