Anyone give one of these units a try? I like that it has a factory look…

At that price I'd say give it a shot. But my experience with android head units both cheap and expensive has been bad. Especially bad with the cheap ones. It's always clunky, and one of the ones I got (different car) stopped doing CarPlay after a week.

I now use an mk1 RNSE from Gunnarrrrr, it has been great. It's not fancy but it always plays music, the reverse camera works, and it is OEM.

I've been thru a few different Android hu's. That one's going to be slow and annoying with only 2GB RAM and 32GB RAM. You're just throwing money away.
    This one is better:
    Xtrons HU

But honestly, I would recommend getting one that is 8GB RAM and 128GB RAM if you want to be able to do anything with it. Worth the extra money IMHO.
And, I would contact Matt Devo. He sells hus and makes true Plug and Play Harnesses for these.

Thanks for putting me straight. Every once in a while I go down this road and need to be reminded they're all junk at this price point. I've heard good things about the extrons units as well.
They're not scared of you. They're scared of what you represent to 'em.

This is the unit I finally settled on. Went thru about 6 or 7 other units.
Liked the fact it was a full touch screen WITH a volume knob.

I bought the BT6. The supplied harness is total garbage and their tech support sucks, so bought a plug and play harness from Matt Devo for about $80.
Had it now for 2 years and love it. Couldn't be happier. Sounds great with the Factory BOSE

I also recommend the Xtrons units. I have this one and if I had to do it over, I'd buy one with a volume knob. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09R9DFKKK I didn't have any issues with the supplied harness and the unit works great. I don't have Bose though.

You will have a much bigger choice over on AliExpress. Cheaper prices and more add-ons.
The prices are RAM dependent. Aim for newer Androids, 13 and 14. I’d personally choose one that has all the buttons. Having a full touchscreen and no steering wheel controls sucks.

Mine came with what I assume was a B7 antenna adaptor. I reworked that to fit my B6's coax cable, only to have no radio reception. Figured later that the coax's shield is not to be grounded but serves as the 5V source for the antenna amplifier at the rear window. In fact there was one wire in the new harness adaptor labeled in Chinese on one side, and "antenna" on the other, for powering the antenna cable. The instructions were pretty minimal, but I've happy with it since.
