Instrument Cluster - lights go out

    Hey Guys,

I searched the treads and couldn't come up with a resolution. The instrument cluster lights up on auto but once you push the fog lights or rear fog lights the lights go out. I have replaced the battery did a reset via obd11 and coded the new battery. If i turn on the lights manually the cluster lights go out. I swapped the light switch with my SQ5 to see if it was faulty and same issue. I pulled all the fuses and checked and they are good. obd 11 Scan said instrument cluster fault. Hopefully someone can guide me to what to check next. TiA.

That's weird. All I can think if it's anything to do with the instrument cluster is the one cable behind it could be somehow loose. Maybe try unplugging it and resetting again then plug it in after. That's what I'd try.

Only gotta take off the plastic trim and I believe there's three m8 bolts behind it. Should be fairly easy to try
