Are connections the same on the new cable? Just want to make sure I have everything I need.

Might be a little bit of a struggle anyway, my laptop doesn't have Ethernet input but I have a ton of faith in my Wi-Fi.

Yes the new cable is similar to the old in terms of connection. USB to OBD2. Send an email to us with your original tuning order number so we can create you the power connect login and get you the download.

I'm doing the TCU first. Do I still need to email my original order number? Plus I don't have the cable yet and sadly it won't arrive until next week.

You should get an email with your account info then. Though you will need to reach out before redoing the ECU side

I just used Wi-Fi and was plenty fine. I'd have to run a 100' cable to use a hard line, lol.

We often flash using just a hotspot on our phone when out testing. Not recommended obviously, since we have the tools to fix something should there be an issue. A strong wifi connection should work. Just make sure it doesn't drop out

Its not a common occurrence. If you run into any snags, respond to the email you received from our tuning department (the one that has your login details) and the calibration team will be able to assist you along the way.
