    Suspension noises after hard driving

After some hard driving at an SCCA autox event yesterday, I’m hearing a lot of clicks and creeks from the front suspension/dash area when making low speeds turns (like in a parking lot.)

Additionally, the past few weeks I’ve managed to hit a couple MASSIVE potholes - and now I hear some metallic rattling noises under certain conditions.

My car isn’t a daily driver per se, but it does get driven a handful of times a week other than to and from autocross events.

Any ideas or advice on what to inspect or how to best troubleshoot?

My guess is CV joints. An old test was turning the car slowly left or right and listen for clicking, that was a failing CV joint. Look for leaks or a broken boot.

Should check out if the strut mount bearing hasn't failed.

Thanks for the suggestions! I took a look and realized the iSweep bracket had failed and thus the metal cylinder was clanking around.

I am confident that is the (majority) of the noise I was hearing, but still need to do some digging to ensure nothing else failed or was damaged.

What is the best way to check on the top mounts?
