I have a 2013 RS5 that got the clutch, mechatronic, and sensor replacement (would stop driving after 20 mins). Initially I brough it in for the sensor issue, and it shifted perfectly at the time -- just could only drive for so long.

Before I got it fixed, even with the sensor issue, the shifts were perfectly smooth (just like my 2010 S4). No issues at all. After the fix, the shifts are rougher especially 1 -->2 and 2 -->1 (jerkiness). I also notice a little what feels like either slip or a rough engagement going into 4th. I wasn't initially going in for a new clutch, but they said it was getting old (94K at the time). Also now when I go to redline, it doesn't hold the rev, it bogs down with a kinda violent, jerky fuel cut -- it didn't do that before it got fixed either. I also noticed some downshifts while I am on the gas are delayed.

It used to be a perfectly smoothly shifting car with no delays ever. The shop that did the repairs (very well known here and in the Audi scene) told me that this was normal for a new clutch, that the shifts should be faster now but also rougher. Is this true? They did not warn me of any of this before the clutch replacement, so I'm wondering if this is a fact of life or not (along with the other stuff I mentioned)? I've brought it in twice after and they say it's normal which surprised me.

If you got your DCT's clutch replaced (especially an RS5), did is behave differently after replacement? Does it behave like what I am experiencing? Did anything change for you?
