    S4 -S5 SEDAN COMPARISON

I had a 2021 S4 sedan that I mistakenly sold, now I would like to purchase a replacement. I have looked at the dimensional specs of the S5 sedan, (not sportback), and it looks to be no larger than the S4. I would consider the S5 if it was roomier for me, a rather large guy with arthritis, but no need to if it is not noticeably larger. Is my research correct on the size comparisons?

Maybe I am wrong...but pretty sure they don't make a S5 sedan. Sportback or Coupe, from my understanding are the only two options.

I just traded in my S4 for a S5 coupe and for me personally it was the right choice. Interior size up front is pretty much identical (I have an suv if needed to transport more then 2 people) but the exterior body style of the S5 IMHO is so much nicer then the S4.

The S4 has more headroom, nearly 2 inches.

I too think that the best looking is the coupe body style, and I knew it is not being produced in 2025. And now, looking at the Audi website, it shows no S5 sedans either, as alluded to in the previous post. So, it seems to be a choice between an S4 sedan or S5 sportback. But back to my previous point of curiosity, it surprises me that the 5 series has no advantage in interior room, as I thought that as the number series goes up, the vehicle size does also.

The new A5 sedan is notably larger/roomier than the outgoing A4 sedan, esp. height, length and wheelbase. This will no doubt repeat itself with the S5 vs. S4 sedan. Whether that's enough for you is TBD! The only availability news I can find thus far is for the new A5 sedan (due in dealerships May/June). No word I can find on the new S5 sedan availability.

It made B9 shopping hard, lots of S5s out there, but hardly any S4s. In the S5 my head was up in the sunroof.
