Is it possible to read/modify an ECU with Unitronic Stage 2 file?

    Hey there,

I am getting tired of the wastegate rattle on my 2020 DNWA and Unitronic unfortunately does not provide the wastegate rattle patch in their files for this engine.

So I want to take the car to a local tuner and have the wastegate rattle patch applied, but I am not sure if it's possible to read/modify the ECU with the Unitronic stage 2 file?

I would assume it should be accessible, so I can keep the Unitronic Stage 2 while also have the rattle patch applied. i am not familiar enough with how the maps work etc. so wasn't sure if it's maybe encrypted.

    Thanks!

A "wastegate rattle ECU fix" typically refers to adjusting the engine control unit (ECU) software to slightly increase the vacuum signal sent to the wastegate actuator, effectively pushing the wastegate harder against its seat and minimizing the rattling noise, although this is often considered a temporary solution and may not address the underlying issue of a worn wastegate mechanism; the best fix usually involves physically adjusting the wastegate actuator arm or replacing worn components within the turbocharger itself.

NO, they can not be modified by anyone except Unitronic, if you are looking for more open source, customizable tunes by more tuners, DS1 is what you want
Stage 1 more than you RS3
