Best RS6 K04 CHRA to purchase?

Hey all,

Was taking apart the cheap china turbos today that came with my engine and damaged the compressor wheel on one.
Want to replace both CHRA's with a good quality replacement, after quality and reliability.
What are the best options to consider?
I see SRM has them for $249 each. Great price, but what is the quality like?

I ran a set from SRM. They were Melett chra’s. Not sure if that is still the case. No issues for twenty five thousand miles.

For direct repalcement i'd go with Borg Warner if you can find them, Turbo-Rebuild billet CHRA or Melett.

How much harder is it to put the garrett housing in place of the Chinese ones. I can't imagine they are much different.

I was under the impression he just had some hybrids, considering he said they are the cheap Chinese turbos.
