Front snub mount holding load on subframe??

Last week I noticed a rattling sound coming from my engine bay and discovered my front snub mount housing had come completely loose. No problem, must not have been torqued to spec the last time it was taken off. I spent Friday night pulling the bumper and sub frame to reach the mount bracket. I torqued it and even applied blue loctite to the bolts. Walah, no more sound and car is driving really nice. Fast forward to Wednesday and I’m pretty sure the bracket/housing is going loose again. I start to think about the disassembly and reassembly and realize that the front snub mount is bearing a lot of engine weight onto the subframe. had to jack the motor up to fit the mount into the subframe so it’s resting a good amount of weight on it. I thought it was a weird design. Anyways now I’m thinking the front snub mount wasn’t designed to really bear weight so thats probably why it keeps coming loose. So my question, why is my engine sagged down 3 inches and not letting my snub mount sit freely in its sub frame housing? My first thought was the other engine mounts must not be doing their job. Any ideas?

After some digging on the forum seems like this is a somewhat frequent occurrence with newly placed rs4 mounts creating sag during its break in period. Some users recommend using several “wide” washers in between the bracket and mount to raise the engine height so that the snub can fit freely within its subframe housing. Does this sound like a safe fix my problem? Is there a better way to do it?

I’ve never had an issue with snub mount fitting/getting loose with multiple different kinds of motor mounts.

I’d double check that motor mounts are installed correctly with stud going through the correct hole on their brackets.
