    Hey good evening y'all!

    I ran across an issue this morning where my MMI display just went black after driving for a little while. After work, it came back on for a moment and then went black again.
    Wanted to see if anyone had any input of a possible fix outside of being charged an arm and a leg for Audi Service. I asked around a couple groups and someone mentioned the ribbon cable, and I saw something about a power cable. Thanks y'all

    Common problem. Many DIY videos on youtube. I dealt with the same issue(cable chaffed) causing mine to not even open. Fixed cable, same issue. Had to reset MMI control module(below MMI screen) and havent had the issue since.

    Way too many additional malfunctions beyond infotainment. Suggest first checking the battery. Failing battery will cause all those codes. Just a thought.

    what might be happening is the mmi unit thinking it has retracted, thus shutting off the light. try pressing the back button or retract button. the plastic gear wheels are known to break wimpy internal mechanicals

    I like this suggestion! Start simple. Check the battery, though you may have multiple issues here... Looks like you have a bad motor mount too

    His scan literally proves his battery is a problem. While it may not be the problem causing his MMI retraction issue, it is still a problem.

    Oh, and you need a new motor mount, Mount 1 is toast.
