best dash cam for S4/S5

just curious on the input of the best dash cams out there for the B9S4/B9S5. i know the car has cameras front and back but i dont think they record non stop or would have access to 15 seconds before and after an accident/incident.

FitCamX. They make ones the look factory for the S4/5. Just had one installed last week.
The factory ones don't record I believe.

I just put a VIOFO A229 in my RS5. They’re on the top according to Vortex’s testing. They’ve saved my bacon in the past as well on other cars.

FitcamX won't have the best quality for sure (and they're a bit of a pain to try to wifi-direct to if you use wireless AA/Carplay) but you wouldn't know the car has a dashcam if you didn't have it pointed out to you. Super sleek looking, takes up no more visual real estate at all than what the mirror and camera systems already do, and it's hard to notice if you're worried about say a dealer or shop taking the car on a joyride after unplugging your cam.

Blackvue, thinkware, garmin are the most popular name brands. VIOFO if you want something from amazon. They're really the best in quality, etc.

Pair one of those with the plug and play Audi hardwire kit (https://www.ebay.com/itm/326063680175) and you're good to go.
