FS: Whispbar K390W Foot Kit - Used

For sale is a used set of Whispbars and a K390W foot/fit kit for the B8/8.5 Audi A4/S4. The Whispbars are labeled S25W and have front and rear stickers but after measuring the bars, they’re the same length and I believe the bars are either mislabeled or incorrectly relabeled as the front bar’s labeling is nearly coming off. Both bars measure 950mm or 37 13/32” long instead of one being 1000mm long and one 950mm long as is what is contained in the S25W kit (one S5 bar and one S6 bar), but that actually works in the favor of the B8/8.5 sedans; the S5 kit is what I used on both my old B8 and my old B8.5.

In fact; I bought a new car and kept my Whispbar S5 roof rack and purchased a new foot kit for the new car instead of buying a new rack entirely.

The foot/fit kit is about 8 years old but entirely functional and in great shape ready to go to a good home and be put to use.

The bars were recently picked up to complete the sale of the kit so someone can get going right away when the kit arrives. I’ve pre measured and pre setup both bars for use on the B8/B8.5s. The bars are in good shape and need a good home to be put to use.

I’m asking $390 shipped for the whole kit in the lower 48.

I accept and prefer PayPal G&S or can do other transfer services such as Venmo or Zelle as F&F. I can generally ship out within 1 day if not the same day.

Still lots of PMs on these but mostly around what bars to use. Below is a link to a copy of the K390W digital manual and on page 21 it shows what lengths the front and rear bars need to be from leg to leg which is 842mm (33 1/8”) and 830mm (32 11/16”) respectively.

From my assessment, the new owner could use Whispbar models S4, S5, or S6 for matching flush bars.

Now with that said, I scored a second set of whispbars recently that are on their way here and plan to hold this sale until the bars arrive and will repost the whole kit so someone doesn’t have to piece it together however the price will be reflective of the cost of the bars and fit kit which isn’t the cheapest but this is the nicest and quietest rack around IMO. The plan is to set the kit up so that the new user can directly install it on their B8/8.5 out of the box. Stay tuned and contact me if you’re interested in the whole kit before it arrives.

The Whispbars are in and are the perfect size; they’ve been cleaned up and are ready to go to a new home with the foot kit so you can toss them on your B8/B8.5 and be ready to go. The front and rear bars are even marked for you. They come with the original tools and two keys.
