Question P1398 - Engine Speed Signal - Short to Ground

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hello all,

I got this error recently - P1398 - Engine Speed Signal - Short to Ground.
After clearing, the error appears again.

The engine code is CTGE and it is running absolutely fine. The engine is equipped with МТМ M-Cantronic.

Where is this RPM sensor located?
What how to check if the sensor, connector and wiring harness are the problem?
Could this error be related to the MTM M-Centronic upgrade?

Any help would be highly appreciated!
