Brake Pad Decision Time: Carbotech 1521 vs. iSWEEP IS1500/2000 vs. 034 Dynamic +

    Need some help...

I'm about ready for new pads (rotors too) and after some research am looking at these 3:

    Carbotech 1521
    iSWEEP IS1500 or IS2000
    034 Motorsport Dynamic +

Does anyone have some real-world experience with any of these? Have not seen much that is recent. Curious to know about street use as that will be the primary usage. I plan to do 2-3 track days this summer and if I can get away with one pad to rule them all, I'd consider it. I will be going with blank, one-piece rotor replacements. Nothing exciting on that front...

Appreciate any and all advice, experience, recommendations on the above. Appreciate your time,

Porterfield R4-S on all 4 corners, awesome pad, great feel, low dust, no noise, lasts a long time, and made in USA

Damn, you're the second person to reco those pads. In all the research I did they never came up. Where did you source them from?

You can get them direct from Porterfield in CA, i buy them from Livemore Performance, he ships 2nd day and is usally a little cheaper then direct from Porterfield. If you are unsure what part number to order or have questions, he is very fast to get back to you, email or phone, highly recommend.

I went with these. I don't track my car so I can't speak for that but in everyday driving these things are great. No squeaks and more importantly no dust. They are as dust free as any pad I've ever used. I got so tired of having to clean my wheels with the factory pads. And they will throw you through the windshield if need be, in stopping so I can't see how it would be an issue on the track either.

I had put on Carbotech 1521, with girodisc rotors

No dust, no noise, very linear pedal feel.

It does take more pedal force than Oem

I thought they were great. They are only for street usage, no track, according to Carbotech.

Thanks for sharing. Will see how the iSweep's do. I have everything sitting in my garage. Waiting to get a few more miles out of the current setup before I make the switch.

034 StreetSport Brake Pads are the perfect pads for the daily driver that occasionally sees the race track. We run these pads on all of our shop cars, and run them for far more than 2-3 track days without any issues. Our pads are comparable to Ferodo DS2500, Endless MXRS & MX72, Project Mu HC+, PFC 97, Hawk HP+, and Pagid RS4-2 pads.

I went with Carbotech 1521 for rears (found a set on FB marketplace) and the 034 StreetSports for the Fronts. I wanted performance pads in the front at least since I do a track day every once in a while. This will allow me to see differences in dust as well. Went with the set of JHM rotors front and rear. Once everything is installed I can report back.

Yeah, please do. Really interested to get your impressions on your setup.

Its been a minute since I had the iSweep pads installed and thought I would post here to say that so far, an outstanding pad/compound. I went with the iSweep IS2000 compound. At low speed stops, they feel like your average pad, no noise, average bite, sedate. But braking at speed, or anything I would say over 50mph, and the pad feel changes dramatically: good initial bite, progressive, and modulation is easy. Dust seems to be less but honestly, I live in the Chicagoland area so right now it hasn't been exactly ideal conditions to identify if dust is an issue. I would recommend these pads to anyone looking for an OE upgrade. Neuspeed sources these pads...
