Speaker help/questions

2011 A4 Quattro no B&O. All stock speakers in the vehicle, stock radio etc. One of my rear speakers is beginning to go and the rear shelf speaker is blown i believe because the rattling is insane. Just looking for budget friendly options or opinions for anyone who has maybe swapped their speakers. I’m looking to potentially swap out all speakers inside but some people say certain aftermarket’s are too powerful for the stock amp, others mention sizing issues and mounts. Just wondering if anyone had any advice or recommendations from previous projects of their own.

I installed Infinity reference speakers in my car (just the fronts) after one of my front speakers blew out and it was pretty easy. I bought adapters off amazon to bolt the speakers into the doors and just used generic electrical plugs from lowes to hook them up. Details are in my thread linked in my sig, but I only changed the speakers and the sound was definitely an improvement over stock. My car has B&O but my speakers aren't anything crazy and should work find in a car with the standard "Concert" system.

Whilst you have the doors apart, I recommend adding sound insulation. I used some Kilmat, and recently did my doors with them and there was a noticeable reduction in NVH and the soundsystem sounded much better. The materials don't cost much either, and I did this after years with just the front speakers upgraded. Details for that in my thread as well.
