RS3 Vs Stang GT (NJ Edition)

Here's another vid of a green 8Y RS3 doing its thing against the modern muscle car contingency but this time it's a little closer to home at least for some including me. Also, not sure but based on the times this green RS3 may or may not be a beta tester of any particular tuner trying out their latest on the unsuspecting. Enjoy!

Not surprised new GT is a porker over 3800 lbs. I test drove one for kicks it felt like a fat pig Cadillac. I had a lot of Mustangs over the years, sad to see them evolve over time. My 93 5.0 weighed 2800 lbs lol.

Ha! I had a 94 GT. And I remember I thought the SN95 platform got too fat compared to the Fox body. I think it was a 300# jump if I am not mistaken. The new stangs are sweet looking and the HP numbers in factory form was only a pipe dream back in the 90s and early 2000's. I guess they porked up the new cars today to coincide with the HP increases to keep speed at a somewhat sane level.

Man go drive one, the 215hp from the old 93 5.0 felt more visceral. It's sort of depressing you'd be shocked. The GT I drove had 110hp over my 2017 M2 and it was shocking man. The M2 felt like it was 4x faster, no exaggeration. Shifting was slow as well, literally nothing positive about the car other than the seats were comfortable. They even have poor visibility now which was never a big issue on previous generations. The mighty have fallen 100%

That's sad. Are you talking about the coyote ones too? They sound amazing tho. There's a few roaming around my area (ok a ton) with exhaust mods and the 5'0 still sounds beastly. There was a guy trying to bait me into a run one day last summer. I was cruising along and notice he was tail gating me. We get to a light and on the green he takes off. Chirping thru third. I will say I wasn't impressed. I didn't bite because I don't street race. But wish I was at a track. I think i would handed him a multi-car whuppin. Good list of Stangs btw.
