Here's a quick vid of a green RS3 8y toasting a couple of hellkittens. Maybe someone on here knows the owner or is on this board. Nice run.

How is that first one trapping 142? Turbo upgrade, obv, but What are the tuning options right now to get to the 8y that level?

I think there's a few out there running that with a downpipe, intake, IC and a larger turbo on a JB4 with E85 in the tank but maybe I'm exaggerating.

Might be but those aren’t the best upgraded turbo numbers. The green one out of Iroz I know of has 1100whp and is in the 8s without a tcu tune.

That's insane. 8s RS3.. that looks stock and a daily... with a stock tune.

cool thread... having own/owned both recently I can say they are very different cars... and stock for stock I'm not sure the rs3 can take the cat in the 1/4, especially at a track where the cat has a chance at traction... although based on the test numbers they aren't that far off. in that first run the white cat ran an 11.5 which is probably close to what it should run stock, not sure a stock rs3 is getting to 11.5? that being said, my rs3 in everyday or real world driving is certainly quicker off the line... my cat struggled badly to get traction and I never ran better than 4.1-4.2 0-60 (stock on street tires on the street).

That being said, the cat was a very different driving experience... both cars are very fun and yes I'm sure the rs3 is much easier to tune to be "faster" and with AWD it launches like nothing else I've owned recently, the experience in the cat is still probably more fun in my opinion... hard to replace CI's.. not to mention in the higher end most cars do not stand a chance. Once the cat hooks it was lights out for most... problem is I couldn't get the cat to hook really at any speeds below 30-40 at best lol... also the sound of a large supercharged v8 was intoxicating and unmatched by just about anything.... it's too bad dodge is going down the drain with this EV nonsense...

here's one of the last pics i took of the cat...

True. I think the RS3 is a tough customer from a dig. Roll race against a hellcat anything is another story. Double the hp is tough to overcome

You were right. I think this is the car. Turns out it was a unitronic beta tester. See link below.

Excited to see this coming together finally!

130-131 traps on the normal bolt ons FTW. Especially with no TCU tune available yet.

On a somewhat unrelated note, hit a PB with the JB4 recently during a cold snap.

Still can't get out of the hole all that great.
LC just feels like it soft launches, then you get wheelspin after.
Hopefully a TCU is in the pipeline as well.
