2017 S6 P0118 coolant temp sensor running high - where is it and can I replace it?

Hey...Longtime lurker here. Had a repair after bumping up on a six inch curb at under 10 mph. Got the car back from repair because it apparently cracked the radiator and did a ton of damage. I picked the car up and I am getting this error code. They say it has nothing to do with the repair because the sensor is on top of the engine. I can't find anything showing exactly where it is on this car. Is it easy to access and replace? Thanks!

There are a couple coolant sensors... one specifically in the t-stat housing at the bottom of the motor... right where this damage would have been repaired.

Could be broken... could be disconnected. Easy enough to check if you pull the lower engine cover.

    Cheers,
