Interested in the in Tune2Air... Does this allow control through the stereo buttons (play/skip/prev) or info display on MMI?

Unfortunately no. It's essentially a Bluetooth to "aux" transmitter, but the audi doesn't come standard with an auxiliary port and therefore you either buy something like this or go full hardware upgrade to RSNav.
