    Xenonmatch Foglights

I posted this in lighting but it doesn’t look like that forum gets much traffic so asking here…

Hey all, it's been a while since I looked around for non-HID options for fog lights. Years back, I bought some from Hoen bulbs for my pickup to match the OEM HID lights and they're great, still going strong 6 years later. I just recently looked to purchase a set for my S4 and it looks like Hoen no longer exists.

From a little bit of research I did there aren't many companies that make nice HID match halogen lights anymore. The only ones I can find so far are on Amazon, anybody try these?

Are there any mfrs out there like Hoen that make a good quality halogen 4300K ish halogen H11 bulb?

Just a thought: What about, trying AUDI PARTS USA - replace with OEM Genuine? In my S4 Avant B7, still using what came from factory, (though must admit, I don't use much), they seen to light up the front end, quite well, (especially really dark, back roads on moonless nights - though, again, don't do that much either...

Thanks WILEYBRILL: I appreciate taking the time to throw a reply out to a fellow Avant owner. The car currently has the OEM H11 bulbs from AUDI PARTS USA and they “work fine” (although I don’t use them much either). I have a list of things to “refresh” over the winter while I have the bumper off. My rationale is purely “aesthetics” to match the HIDs - period.

I have them in my pickup and I think they look nice, and didn’t realize a quality HID match halogen would be hard to find. I assume everybody is running LEDs and resistors now.

These kinda bulbs are selling like dirt cheap from all sorts of brands. They are very very popular; whether H7, H11, W5W and so on... despite them being ilegal almost everywhere in the EU. Till recently I used to have all my bulbs like this just "purely aesthetics" for coloring the reflectors and lenses blue. I used to really like them, even if the light output was mediocre :) Well, MOT approaching...

Here is something that might help you. - as from US - also great quality ;)

Yeah I know I’ve seen tons of them on Amazon but question the quality. Those look like they’d be a good bulb in the temperature I’m looking for, I’ll give them a shot. Thanks!

Osram is what I'm currently running all around, both high beam and low beam, fogs and parking... even the taillights without a single problem. After I sent you this I saw they also market the 55W version of the same "blue effect" H11s. (called "COOL BLUE Advance")

Ha, I saw that and ordered the Cool Blue Advance fogs along with a new set of Osram D1S headlights. 15% off came to almost the same price as AutoZone's price for one D1S bulb here. Thanks again for the link...

I had this problem with some bulbs recently on my truck. Bought some and absolutely love them. Super bright, perfect color. And I cannot find them now. Disappointing
