It’s probably unconventional but here’s what I’ve done whenever I’ve drained or flushed coolant. Remove coolant reservoir cap, message every large coolant hose you can get your hands on by squeezing and releasing the line multiple times. Make sure coolant is at max fill mark. Start and run car for about 5-7 minutes with the cap still off reservoir. Let car completely cool and then top off coolant. Replace reservoir cap and take off for a little drive. Monitor and fill a little if needed.

Again, it’s not by the book but it’s always worked for me.
