    Product Description:
The 034Motorsport 374mmx36mm 2-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotor Upgrade Kit for the 8Y Audi RS3 is a complete replacement brake rotor kit, designed to work flawlessly with the factory front calipers found on the 8Y Audi RS3.

Weighing in at approximately 28.0 lbs, our lightweight design retains proper thermal mass in the rings and improves metallurgy to adequately capture heat, while utilizing 72 enhanced directionally curved vanes to forcefully flow cool air through the rotor to dissipate heat.

Advantages of J-Slot over Drilled Rotors:
Typically, OEM rotors that are drilled are first cast and then drilled, which creates additional stress points that weaken structural integrity, making them more prone to cracking as they go through heat cycles and wear over time. To address these concerns, 034Motorsport engineers opted for a J-Slot design over a drilled rotor, which effectively clears contaminants from the pad and rotor surfaces while allowing for hot pad outgassing without reducing the structural integrity of the rotor.

    True 2-Piece Design:
While Audi employs a 2-piece rotor design utilizing pins in which the rotor ring can slightly expand and contract compared to the rotor hat, the rotor ring is not fully floating. Additionally, the outer friction surface cannot be replaced individually, adding unnecessary cost to brake services.

034Morsport employs a high-strength steel bobbin-style floating 2-piece rotor design versus the Audi OEM pin-style design. 034Motorsport’s 2-Piece Rotors allow the rotor ring to “float” on the central hat while the rotor ring expands and contracts, preventing the likelihood of cracks and rotor warpages in high-performance driving scenarios.

The central hat on 034Motorsport 2-Piece rotors is crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, while the brake disc is made from a proprietary alloy that is able to withstand extreme braking temperatures while maintaining structural integrity. The high carbon content of the brake disc also allows for the rotor to take a lot of heat and dissipate it quickly. These rotors improve thermal capacity by utilizing 72 directionally curved cooling vanes to forcefully flow cool air through the rotor and are profiled specifically to improve heat dissipation compared to the OE rotor vane design.

034Motorsport 2-Piece Rotors have been thoroughly tested in high-intensity motorsport events, proven to significantly improve braking and thermal headroom and for extreme performance street and track driving, making them the perfect replacement rotor for your 8Y RS3.

    Features:
    • Lightweight Construction (28.0lb 034Motorsport Rotor)
    • Same Weight as OEM, But With Improved Metallurgy and Thermal Capacity
    • Lightweight Construction to Match OEM Rotor Lightweight Design Elements
    • Floating Bobbins, 2-Piece Design with radial and Lateral Expansion Capability, OE Only Allows Radial Expansion
    • Aerospace Grade Aluminum Hats
    • CM-250 Special Alloy Rotor Rings Designed Specifically for Hard Street and Track Use, OE Replacement Rotors Can Warp Under These Conditions
    • J-Slotted Friction Face
    • OEM Fitment & Functionality
    • 72 Curved Vanes Force Cooling Air Through Brake Disc
    • Floating Bobbins Mounting System
    • Left/Right Specific Rotors for Better Cooling (Unlike OE)
    • Replaceable Rotor Rings, Which Saves Money Over OEM Replacement in the Long Run
    • Lower Long-Term Maintenance Cost

**Please Note: Type III hard anodizing of aluminum is considered as a functional surface coating process. While we always aim for color consistency, color variations may exist from batch to batch due to the nature and variables in the anodizing process.

I used these this past Sunday (02/09) at a track day at Thunderhill with HOD. Car did double duty as the wife also shared the car with me. Rotors performed wonderfully!

Currently have EBC Bluestuff Pads (front and rear) + 034's Titanium Brake Pad Shims.
