Car was on Cars and Bids - timing the sale the week of Thanksgiving with an end on Black Friday was difficult. The site has 200+ photos, service records, the carfax report, and their Lemon Squad inspection. I would review that sale page as it has all of the information one would want neatly arranged.
Nearly all the options as a factory s-line prestige car. Has black headliner, BO sound, Nav, back-up camera, heated and memory seats, keyless entry, push button start, rain sensing wipers etc. Does not have blind spot monitoring, drive select suspension, or adaptive cruise. Drive select button on dash operates the sports differential.
Ibis white factory. Doner 8.5 car was also a factory Ibis white car.
144k miles on the chassis. 133k on 3.0t driveline (odometer is from s4 as required for anti-theft system). Mileage at time of swap for both cars is documented in my build thread https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...s4-Avant-build

Car was sold new and lived its life as a one-owner California vehicle until I purchased it in 2/2018 and drive it home to Washington State. No rust issues present. Always garaged.
Had the car inspected before I flew down, but they did not do an oil test to see if the 2.0t had the known piston ring issues - it did. Still loved the car but was the reason for the swap - no point in swapping in another 2.0t as its a terrible motor with numerous issues.
Completed the 3.0 swap 12/2019 using a Premium Plus 2011 S4 doner. Engine/trans/cooling/sports diff/axels, driveshaft etc. were swapped along with all of the necessary modules and electronics.
New OE engine mounts
new radiator and ac condenser (S4 was in a collision)
New engine oil and filter. DSG was fully serviced including both external and internal filters and new DSG fluid. New coolant etc.
Supercharger oil was changed 5/2019 when the CTS pulleys were installed along with new spark plugs.
Wiring harness for engine/trans was swapped over from the s4. Used the A4 body harness to keep the avant specific rear body wiring. The only missing wiring was for the S4 sports differential- the wiring was de-pinned from the S4's body harness into the A4's body harness and is fully functional. Car has no errors or warning lights and the options/accessories are functional.

Overall the body is in good condition.
Rear bumper was hit while the car was parked in 2019. Car had a very slight dent in the passenger quarter panel when I bought it in 2018 (hard to photograph soft dent). Both were professionally repaired in June 2024.
Car has rock chips and age appropriate knicks. Drivers side wheel arch has a few scratches. Overall body is in good to very good condition and the paint has been well cared for. Car exterior was detailed in July 2024.
Interior is in overall good shape. Passenger alcantera has a small stain visible in pictures. No rips or tears.
Things to know
AC has never worked post swap - always figured I would buy the gauges and learn how to test the AC system but never did. Owner of the s4 said it worked prior. The AC system was filled using the O'Riley type AC fill cans so its very possible it is low pressure or leaked out but its tbd. System activates/functions as expected but does not blow cold air.
Car has test pipes (no cats) and the secondary air system was damaged from the donor car so I deleted it (emissions are not necessary in WA state). Both could easily be put back into the car. 034 tune codes out both so there are no CELs.
There is a small bit of smoke on WOT which I had checked at Accurate Motorwerks (Euro specialist in Vancouver WA). Motor was found to be healthy with good compression - the smoke was attributed to no cats and the stage 2 tune. It runs rich and the tune could likely be fine-tuned by 034. I have no issue with running rich so I did not pursue additional tuning or fuel trim.
Car goes 2-3000 miles between quarts. Prior to the maintenance work in 2022 it developed a pretty serious leak from the oil filter housing (plastic cracked), and vacuum pump and started needing a quart every 1000 miles. Thankfully replacement of the Oil filter housing, vacuum pump (and oil cooler to be safe) has returned it to normal.
This car was a passion project and I love her to this day, but my kids are growing and in the summer of 22 I purchased a RV Sprinter van for family activities which has become my spare-time project. I just don't have the time for a weekend toy and it's time she finds a new owner who will love her as much as I have.
Im located in Camas Washington. Asking $27,000. Not interested in trades. Please review the attached links for quality photos and comprehensive info.
I'm open to keeping the Volks and reducing the price if that interests you. Please send me a message to discuss and get my contact info.
