i was fortunate enough to come across an 8hp55 from a b9 rs5 and its a direct bolt up for everything after I find a different shifter cable. my concern though is ecu compatibility. I'm not concerned about whether I keep or lose the throttle kickback during downshifts but I am fairly new to ecu modification if needed. i just want to replace my dsg and am only upgraded my torque converter and clutch hubs to hold more friction discs. I've been told by a mechanic its all plug and play but wont deleting the cooling system for the dsg set off engine management faults?
I wanna do a burnout at heavens gate in an audi

    How did this go?

Would you know if your engine shares a common bolt pattern for transmissions? Wondering if it’s the same as C5 RS6 which is a BCY or BRV engine code
