Res Delete

Hi All - I am planning to do a res delete for my 25 RS6 - either CTS or 034. Tried searching the forum but does anyone know what the impact on the Audi warranty is by doing the delete? TIA. CD

For a Res delete, no warranty issues. I have completed a Redstar and CETE for exhaust valve controller override/custom thus at start up you can hear that kitten!

Welcome to the club. I'm close by you in Evanston so I'm sure we will see each other around.

The Redstar res delete would have been my choice if I hadn't gone with an AWE exhaust. If you bought your car from The Exchange, you should be fine even with the exhaust. They tend to be pretty reasonable.

Nice! I don’t have it on yet but will post when I do. I don’t do car meets so they aren’t on my radar really. There are a few Chicago Audi groups on FB though.

And I dont have FB. I feel the meets would all be RS3s driving around.

Are you happy with your AWE? I’m on the fence not sure if it’s worth the money. Is it much louder than stock? It’s hard to tell by watching videos online..

I had the CTS res delete installed last Friday. I can say with 1000% certainty it was worth every penny. The car sounds materially better, without any added drone.

Link to full video below - cold start in dynamic mode. Valves open near the end, followed by a few minor revs.
