Nice! Most German corporate car culture was a different thing from the 50's to before 2000

Luckily my headliner is in great condition, but nice to know that a pro gets it out and back in without damage through the seemingly narrow inlet on the trunk in our cars.

Trough the backdoor might be a thing but the headliner is waaaaay smaller as an avant one i did, with two extra iron bezels for lighting. Not much work but i hate it badly.

IIRC s40 volvo people do this for headliner to save removing the windshield. If you go through rear door on an s4 / rs4 sedan, will the board not bend too much and ruin the fabric finish, or does it spring back relatively well?

When I had my headliner done last year they told me the easiest way they found was out the front passenger door. I had originally instructed them to try taking it out through one of the rear passenger doors, as that is how the Total Technik guy recommends, but they said it was easier for them to take it out through the front.
