    Phone holder suggestions?

I love the interior but the downside of having 2 touchscreens is that there is no place to store your phone besides the armrest storage for wireless charging.

Anyone can recommend a good phone mount that will not damage the interior? I prefer not to have the windshield or cup holder mount. Maybe a suction mount on the right side of the navigation screen?

I have yet to find a good solution tbh. I have tried the suction cup mounts and they were meh. Left a bit of a ring on the piano blackfinish. So i went with a vent mount for now. I will try and find the link to the one i am using. It’s okay at best but i have yet to find a good solution that doesn’t need to be stuck on with tape.

Besides having one cup holder being taken up, I think this is the best solution that will cause no potential damage on anything.

    I use this one:
    https://www.amazon.com/ESR-HaloLock-...s%2C146&sr=8-1

And I put it in the vent on the drivers side above the light button. It holds extremely well as you can tighten it down with the screw, doesn't mark up the car like others that use adhesive and it allows for air to come out of the vent.
    Here's a pic:

I've been using a LINSEN magsafe mount for mine - put it next to the center display console on the right side nearest to the passenger seat. Its a nice fit, blends in pretty well and can be rotated, extended out, etc. which helps with mobility when you do want the phone screen on.

Will take a few photos and post later. amazon link here

EDIT: few photos. apologies for the bad one with the phone as it was an ipad. and yes the lisen logo is sideways (for tilt) and i wish i could scratch it off. You can fully rotate it and extend in any direction.

You could run a charging cable to this underneath and make it pretty stealth when not is use if you wanted to. Especially since one of the fuse boxes is behind the dead pedal.

This is what I ended up with. The charging cable tucks into the dash all the way back along the center console into the compartment, where it plugs into a spare USB port. I’d do it again….

Do you use Android Auto/Apple Carplay? I just got a '21 RS6 and don't think I can run my android auto without it being plugged in (unless I'm missing something). If you do, do you just run a long cord from the center console or have you hidden it somehow?

In my 21 A6, Android auto works through bluetooth without plugging in. Check your settings.

This - I just did the exact same thing, definitely the cleanest / most convenient way to do this

Can you specify how and where you tucked in the cable?

I'm not the guy you asked but assume he did something similar to me [Edit - looks like he had a cleaner solution to tuck the cable between the panels]. I just used black gorilla duct tape to tape the cable in place. Under the tan leather panel, there's a bit of space so the cable actually tucks in there quite nicely (and I used duct tape as well to keep in place). Obviously in the photos with flash it looks very visible, but the last pic here is what it actually looks like when driving, which is nearly unnoticeable.

To attach the magsafe next to the MMI screen it's just strong double sided tape. I also installed xpel matte film over my piano black and screens, so the double sided tape is on the xpel (and so I'm not worried about damaging anything really). Have had no issues with the phone falling off the magsafe or the double sided tape shifting - the whole thing feels very solid

Sorry… not a lot of non-vendor traffic in here and I wasn’t checking in much.

I just tucked the usb cable into the seams. I think I used a credit card, but anything narrow and stiff enough to shove the cable into that little crevice but that won’t scratch the interior will do. This is a flat cable and I’m not sure it was easier than just a normal usb c. But I don’t notice or think about it anymore. Never really in the way.

I use a ram mount. Super powerful suction cup that rarely comes off (always from his temps in the summer after being in place for months)

It's mechanical instead of magnetic and grips the phone hard. never had the phone come off during very spirited driving in a 1000hp tuned car

It's also has adjustable arms so you can make sure the phone display is exactly where you want it in your vision. I secure mine right on the spot between the right side of the top mmi screen and the long glass pane that runs across the passenger seat so I have access to dragy and other apps

Do you have the link or picture of your set up? The only thing I worry is that the suction cup might leave a marking on that piano black finished trim.
