Question Easiest way to get paddle shifters?

I have a 2012 C7 A7 with the 4-spoke design steering wheel that does not come with paddle shifters. Is there any way to upgrade to paddle shifters easily? Or should I look for an OEM 3-spoke design somewhere like ebay? Or should I go the custom route? I'm not really sure what to go with, I'm mostly just looking for the most cost effective option. I'm also not sure if the 4-spoke design airbag fits the 3-spoke/custom wheel designs, it would be good to know if I need to get an airbag as well if it needs replacing.

It is quite an easy mod... you need a 3-spoke wheel with paddles and some coding, that's it!

I was in your shoes a couple years ago. I’m guessing you also have the 4 spoke heated wheel w/o paddles? Cheapest route is to go the used route and find a 3 spoke heated wheel w/paddles. You will need to also buy an airbag that fits the wheel. I also got both off of Ebay. If you decide to go that route too, be sure the airbag is coming off a C7 that wasn’t terribly wrecked for peace of mind. If you have any questions about part #s for a wheel/airbag let me know and I can get them for you. Depending on the color of the wheel you are wanting, there are slight variations to the part #s
